Golongan yang paling terkesan dengan kenaikan bil elektrik bermula 1 Jan 2024 adalah golongan M40.

Ianya adalah mereka dengan bil elektrik bulanan kini di antara RM220.36 hingga RM736.92.

Golongan ini bakal mengalami kenaikan antara RM12.02 hingga RM31.06 sebulan ataupun antara RM144 hingga RM373 setahun.

Mereka dengan bil elektrik RM220.36 sekarang akan mengalami kenaikan 5.5% atau RM12.02 ke RM232.38

Isi rumah dengan bil elektrik RM387.07 akan terkesan dengan kenaikan RM18.36 (4.8%) ke RM405.43.

Mereka dengan bil elektrik RM736.92 pula akan mengalami kenaikan RM31.06 (4.2%) ke RM767.98.

Namun pengguna dengan bil elektrik RM942 ke atas tidak akan terkesan kali ini sebab telah dikenakan kenaikan minimum 25% sejak bulan Julai 2023 lepas.

Pada Bulan Jun 2023, bil elektrik sebanyak RM708 sudah pun naik kepada RM942 bermula bulan Julai 2023.

Atau pun kenaikan minimum RM234 sebulan bersamaan dengan beban tambahan RM2,808 setahun ke atas.

Bagaimanapun pengguna dengan bil elektrik RM220 ke bawah langsung tidak terkesan sejak beberapa tahun dahulu.

Kini kita perlu bertabah menanggung kenaikan antara 4.2% hingga 25%

Bil elektrik yang naik juga bermaksud jumlah Cukai Servis 6% yang dibayar juga naik.
