Keputusan SPM 2024: Pencapaian Terbaik dalam 11 Tahun!

Keputusan Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2024 yang diumumkan pada 24 April 2025 mencatatkan prestasi cemerlang dengan Gred Purata Nasional (GPN) 4.49, peningkatan sebanyak 0.11 mata berbanding 4.60 pada 2023. Dengan 402,956 calon mendaftar di 3,337 pusat peperiksaan, SPM 2024 menunjukkan peningkatan ketara dalam kelulusan dan pencapaian cemerlang, terutamanya di negeri terjejas banjir seperti Kelantan dan Terengganu.

Sorotan Prestasi SPM 2024

  • 14,179 calon mencapai gred A+, A, atau A- dalam semua mata pelajaran (2023: 11,713).
  • 86,040 calon memperoleh sekurang-kurangnya Gred C dalam semua subjek (2023: 83,112).
  • 136,791 calon lulus dengan sekurang-kurangnya Gred E (2023: 131,489).
  • 355,933 calon layak mendapat sijil SPM (2023: 349,297).
  • Pelaksanaan KSSM dan penjajaran CEFR untuk Bahasa Inggeris menyokong peningkatan ini.

Ketidakhadiran Peperiksaan SPM 2024

Bilangan calon yang tidak hadir peperiksaan menurun ketara:

  • SPM 2024: 6,246 calon (1.8%).
  • SPM 2023: 8,676 calon (2.5%).
  • Penurunan: 2,430 calon (28.01%).

Penurunan ini menunjukkan komitmen pelajar yang lebih tinggi, disokong usaha KPM dalam logistik dan kesedaran.

Kegagalan Bahasa Melayu SPM 2024

Bahasa Melayu adalah subjek wajib, minima lulus Gred E (~40–44%). Tiada data spesifik kegagalan Bahasa Melayu sahaja, tetapi:

  • 1,789 calon gagal semua subjek (0.5%), termasuk Bahasa Melayu (2023: 1,467, 0.4%).
  • Punca: Kerja malam, kurang persediaan, cabaran sosioekonomi.
  • Implikasi: Gagal Bahasa Melayu menghalang pensijilan SPM.

Tindakan KPM dan Peluang Masa Depan

  • SPM Ulangan (SPMU): Julai/November 2025 untuk Bahasa Melayu, Matematik, Sejarah.
  • TVET: Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) di GIATMARA, kolej komuniti, ILJTM.
  • Program Pemulihan: Fokus Bahasa Melayu dan Sejarah.
  • Kaunseling: Sokongan psikologi untuk pelajar gagal.

Kesimpulan: Cabaran dan Harapan SPM 2024

SPM 2024 mencatat GPN 4.49, dengan sekolah seperti SBPI Gombak mendominasi. Ketidakhadiran turun 28.01%, tetapi kegagalan meningkat kepada 1,789 calon. KPM perlu tingkatkan penguasaan Bahasa Melayu dan sokongan pelajar melalui SPMU dan TVET. Calon digalakkan merancang masa depan melalui pendidikan atau kerjaya alternatif.
