Kebakaran hutan di sekitar Jerusalem dan Beit Shemesh bermula pada 30 April 2025, didorong oleh angin kencang dan suhu panas melampau. Api merebak dengan pantas, memusnahkan hampir 1,000 hektar hutan. Lebih 10,000 penduduk dipindahkan, dan 24 orang cedera, kebanyakannya akibat menghirup asap. Dalam kekecohan kebakaran itu, sebuah video yang dikongsi di platform X menunjukkan seekor lembu yang melarikan diri dari api menanduk seorang anggota polis Israel yang cuba menghalang laluannya. Video ini menjadi tular, dengan ramai pengguna X membuat gurauan seperti “Lembu adalah Khamas!” dan “Lembu ini akan dilabel anti-Semitik”. Namun, tiada laporan rasmi dari sumber berita utama yang mengesahkan kejadian ini, menjadikannya mungkin kisah yang dibesar-besarkan di media sosial.
