Bantuan Penjagaan (BPT): Panduan Lengkap untuk OKU Terlantar dan Pesakit Kronik di Malaysia

Kementerian Pembangunan Wanita, Keluarga dan Masyarakat melalui Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat (JKM) terus komited dalam menyediakan jaringan keselamatan sosial kepada golongan yang memerlukan. Salah satu inisiatif penting yang disediakan adalah Bantuan Penjagaan (BPT) yang khusus menyasarkan Orang Kurang Upaya (OKU) terlantar, pesakit kronik terlantar, dan pesakit kronik tidak terlantar yang memerlukan penjagaan rapi.

Bantuan ini bertujuan untuk meringankan beban penjaga serta memastikan kelangsungan penjagaan yang sewajarnya dapat diberikan kepada individu-individu ini. Kemas kini terakhir bantuan ini adalah pada 1 Ogos 2025.

Syarat-Syarat Kelayakan Bantuan Penjagaan (BPT)

  • Kewarganegaraan dan Kediaman: Pemohon mestilah warganegara Malaysia dan bermastautin di negara ini.
  • Peranan Penjaga: Pemohon hendaklah merupakan penjaga yang bertanggungjawab memberikan penjagaan rapi kepada OKU terlantar, pesakit terlantar, atau pesakit kronik yang memerlukan pengawasan dan penjagaan berterusan.
  • Pendapatan Isi Rumah: Pendapatan bulanan isi rumah pemohon tidak boleh melebihi RM5,000. Ini adalah untuk memastikan bantuan disalurkan kepada keluarga yang berpendapatan rendah dan sederhana.
  • Pesakit Kronik Tidak Terlantar: Bagi pesakit kronik yang tidak terlantar, mereka layak dipertimbangkan untuk bantuan ini sekiranya memerlukan rawatan berterusan untuk tempoh minimum 3 bulan, dan permohonan dibuat atas nama pesakit itu sendiri.

Kadar Bantuan

Bantuan Penjagaan ini menawarkan kadar sebanyak RM500 sebulan seorang. Jumlah ini diharapkan dapat membantu menampung sebahagian kos penjagaan dan keperluan harian penerima.

Dokumen yang Diperlukan untuk Permohonan

  • Borang Permohonan: Borang Permohonan Bantuan Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat (JKM 18) yang lengkap diisi.
  • Salinan MyKad Pemohon: Salinan kad pengenalan pemohon.
  • Salinan MyKad/MyKid Ahli Keluarga: Salinan kad pengenalan atau MyKid ahli keluarga yang tinggal bersama.
  • Penyata Pendapatan: Penyata pendapatan atau surat pengesahan pendapatan daripada majikan. Bagi yang bekerja sendiri, surat akuan pendapatan diperlukan.
  • Surat Pengesahan Rawatan: Surat atau memo pengesahan rawatan dari hospital, klinik kesihatan (kerajaan/swasta), atau Pegawai JKM yang mengesahkan bahawa individu yang dijaga adalah OKU terlantar, pesakit kronik terlantar, atau pesakit kronik tidak terlantar.
  • Salinan Bil Utiliti: Salah satu salinan bil utiliti seperti bil air, elektrik, telefon, atau Astro untuk tujuan pengesahan alamat.
  • Salinan Penyata Akaun Bank: Penyata akaun bank terkini atau slip pengesahan akaun bank terkini.

Proses Permohonan & Pertanyaan Lanjut

Borang permohonan yang telah lengkap bersama semua dokumen yang diperlukan boleh dihantar di Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat Negeri atau Pejabat Kebajikan Masyarakat Daerah di tempat tinggal pemohon.

Sebarang pertanyaan atau permohonan lanjut boleh diajukan dengan menghubungi pejabat Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat berhampiran tempat tinggal pemohon atau melayari laman web rasmi JKM di www.jkm.gov.my.

Inisiatif Bantuan Penjagaan ini menunjukkan keprihatinan kerajaan dalam memastikan kesejahteraan golongan yang memerlukan penjagaan khusus sentiasa terpelihara, serta mengiktiraf peranan penting para penjaga dalam komuniti.
