Gambaran Keseluruhan Insiden

Mustaqeem bin Mansor, 34 tahun dari Penaga, Penang, meninggal dunia secara tragik semasa ekspedisi mendaki di Gunung Liang, Perak. Beliau menyertai kumpulan 10 pendaki, termasuk dua pemandu arah, bermula dari Bukit Fraser pada 10 Oktober 2025. Insiden ini mencetuskan kemarahan dan tanda pagar #Justice4Mustaqeem di media sosial, menekankan pentingnya memilih kawan yang boleh dipercayai.

Apa yang Berlaku

Semasa turun pada 11 Oktober, Mustaqeem cedera kaki dan tidak dapat meneruskan perjalanan. Kumpulannya meninggalkannya sendirian di puncak, dan tiada sesiapa melaporkan insiden itu kepada pihak berkuasa dengan segera. Isterinya hanya membuat laporan polis pada 14 Oktober, selepas kumpulan itu pulang tanpa beliau.

Penemuan dan Punca Kematian

Pasukan carian dan penyelamat menemui jasad Mustaqeem pada 16 Oktober di puncak Gunung Liang Barat. Autopsi di Hospital Slim River mengesahkan beliau meninggal akibat hipotermia kerana pendedahan kepada sejuk melampau. Tiada tanda-tanda jenayah dilaporkan, tetapi persoalan kecuaian timbul.

Pemulihan dan Pengebumian

Disebabkan cuaca buruk, jasad Mustaqeem diangkut melalui udara pada 17 Oktober ke Hospital Slim River. Beliau dikebumikan di Penaga, Penang, pada 18 Oktober. Keluarganya, terutamanya ibunya, meluahkan kesedihan dan kekeliruan atas pengabaian terhadapnya.

Kumpulan pendaki tiada permit daripada Jabatan Perhutanan Perak. Dua pemandu arah, Mohd Syukur bin Zakaria dan Rahimi bin Arifin, ditahan pada 16 Oktober di bawah Seksyen 26 Akta Perhutanan Negara 1984. Siasatan berhubung kemungkinan kecuaian masih berjalan.

#Perak: Jenazah pendaki yang dilaporkan meninggal dunia di Gunung Liang, dekat Tanjong Malim semalam berjaya dikeluarkan pasukan Unit Udara Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia Perak kira-kira jam 2.45 petang ini.

Jenazah Mustaqeem Mansoor, 34, kemudiannya dibawa ke Hospital Slim River untuk proses bedah siasat.
